David Brian Morris

David Morris was a three times Isle of Man TT winner and twice a British Champion. The first and only BMW solo rider to win an International race (Isle of Man Singles TT) since 1939 on the Chrysalis BMW F650.

He was a devoted Husband to Alison and an amazing Father to Lee and Neil. David was loved by his many friends and family as not only a hugely successful Sportsman, but also as a gentleman and a great character.

He is sadly missed, nearly 10 years on from a racing accident which claimed his life at the Croft circuit in North Yorkshire. We take heart in the fact that the very same day he clinched his second British Championship during race one, only to be cruelly taken away whilst leading the second.

His wife Alison is now with him always, having passed away suddenly at their Swanwick home just six days after her husband. Alison had battled illness for some time and the shock of losing her husband may well have taken her to be by his side as she always was.

We miss you Dad and I so wish you could have met your Daughter-in-law Caroline and your two fantastic Grandchildren James (4) and Alex (3). They would have loved their Grandad. xxx
